I am very dissapointed that Alabama ran up the score after our freshman QB threw 5 picks.I'm not saying this as an excuse but it is obvious we would have won if Colt was in.He would have gotten the ball to Shipley every time,and we were trailing at the second half.Thats a real let down that his parents let a wimpy shoulder pain keep him from winning THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP,and he would have had time to heal up by the draft.that really dissapoints me.But thats just my opinion.

I'm not sure Texas would have done any better.
Alabama was running at will--they had 205 rushing yards (234 if you count only running backs...McElroy managed to cheese his way to -27 yards) and 4 rushing TD's.
They showed Texas had the #1 rated run defense because they play in the Big 12.
Aside from the last TD, Alabama was forced to "run up the score" because their defense stopped playing in the second half. They couldn't be sure of their ability to win without scoring again. Until the last TD. And that was a middle finger in Texas's face and I loved the swagger.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'
