This game is to be released In US February 2010 and does not require any of the other Stalker versions to run.Earlier this year there were false reports that it was and Expansion pack not a stand alone.I'm pleased since I sold my other releases of stalker.

Don't worry about that
I deleted my Stalker folders but the game worked without problems
