So, I'm having this problem where I go to install custom content in the launcher and I select what I want to install and click install and then the install dialogue thingy flashes on the screen, disappears and nothing happens.

I contacted tech support about this on wednesday and I haven't even gotten an automated response yet other than the emailed link you get to your question.

dido im angry and amazed they let the saboteur out with it not working on any ati cards

Well, I did buy The Sims and much of the custom content I can't install.

I had to upgrade to Windows 7 and it's given me nothing but grief concerning this game.

Wow. After a dozen correspondences where the guy at EA is suggesting knowledge base articles which are clearly irrelevant to my problem, he asks for my dxdiag report. I had already provided this with my initial support request, but I did it anyway.

And then the guy gives me the knowledge base article for how to UNINSTALL the game.

That's amazing.
