i find it hard to believe Richard Marcinko would sign off on this cheezy game full of lame one liners.i mean the shooter is alright but they went a little overboard on the f bombs and one liners.every time you throw a nade or get hit its f this or f that or im going to wrap my hairy f en nuts around your neck.i mean im no angel and i have no problems with swearing but if its everytime you perform a action it just makes it seem cheezy to me..
Haha, I didn't know the name belonged to an actual soldier. I agree btw. While I have absolutely no problem with swearing or the like, if the guy keeps saying "die mother****er" etc. every two seconds it just loses all meaning and becomes pointless and plain stupid.
Also, I somehow doubt the real "Demo ****" would, at first, go sneaking around an enemy base with a silenced pistol... Then throw a grenade at some unsuspecting enemies and shout "BOOM TIME! Die pencil ****!" LOL
One thing I don't agree with you on, however... I wouldn't say the shooter was "alright". Let's face it, this was ****ing awful.
I was soooo pumped for this game based on early screenshots. But after attempting to play through the first level, it seemed to be another horribly generic fps game (hell, with all the screenshots, i thought it was a 3RD PERSON shooter o_O)
I also agree on the overuse of swearing and everything else in the game. Cursing can be used to get across the emotions of certain character types, but in this game it's just horrid one liners, that lose their 'edge' and 'comedy' immediately after use.
Definately stay away from this one. Seems like it'll be $9.99 in a few months
Also, if bethesda brought this out for the pc, why the HECK didn't they bring Wet out? Now that game surprised me with how fun it was. And i bet the visuals on the PC would be gorgeous. It's sooooo grainy and jaggy filled on the consoles (both ps3 AND 360)
I am sincerely dissapointed. When I first heard about the game (back when it was being developed by Zombie Studios) I was very excited, as my dad worked with Marcinko around the time he founded Red Cell, and I figured he'd make sure it got done right. Guess I was wrong. Terrible, terrible game.
everyone has its own opinion about certain games n history in games etc but if you play like i do it wont bother you any bit a game is to have a bit of fun i was mostly laughin coz everytime i shot smt the charcter was cursin wich brought me out of concentration n made me shoot smt else like walls etc n since my bro was sittin next to me i had a bit of double anti-concentration...
anyhows like i said in the other post its a game so dont look at history, political, or anything else behind a game otherwise you guys will be discussin every aspect of every game forever, not tellin you guys you shouldnt but just tellin you guys not to take a game too ceriously.

Mr. Marchinko is a former US Navy SEAL, he was drummed out of the navy back in the early 1990's when he refused to discontinue writing fictional books that majority of military imposters use to con people with. Mr. Marchinko is considered to be a enemy of the US Navy and US Navy SEAL Teams.
He is making money off the game, he could care less what others thinks. He does not care if military imposters uses any of his books or video games to con people out of thier money. He hides behind the Freedom of Speech Laws and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
