So i was tolf on my launcher that I had a game update available. For some reason the update will not conclude, the message "Error: File can not be found" keeps popping up at the end of the installation and cancels it. does anyone know what this means and what to do?

I'm sorry guys if i'm to newb to ask this question, how do i update my sims? i mean the patch? where can i get it and how? thanks a lot!

The launcher should automatically find it and ask you to install it.

You can find it for download by googling the version you want, but I found that the specific patch I wanted--no matter where I downloaded it from--had a region error and wouldn't install; so I ended up having to give up most of the mods I used by going to the newest patch through the launcher.

That usually indicates the trainer version and game version don't match.

btw if your game is unoficial the updates won't intsall right?
