Yeah I don't use the crackfix either. Played it all last night with no problem. I'm using winXP don't know if that makes a difference.

XP as well... In my opinion, its just result of crapy coding. This error looks like console error to me, so theres got to be something that makes the game think there is no memory card (or locked one). This part of code has nothing to do in PC version. But thats just me...

Ark does the game run at all? I had some serious lag issues before the patch...still have some minor ones as well after but not near as bad. I could play the game before it just wouldn't save. I know win XP can be pretty picky sometimes when it comes to file permissions. The only spec I didn't have was the processor

Well, before the patch it ran a little bit lagy, especially the first mission. The second one was much more better. With patch applied it runs great (even the first mission). I played assassins creed and R6 Vegas 2 on max details with no problem, so this game should run much more better. A read on some forum that the lag issue is done by the game, forcing exact ammount of FPS. The same problem was with GTA4 for which some distributors offered refunding. There is no doubt the porting went wrong here as well, only question remains, if aspyr is going to do something with it.

I don't use the crackfix either. No matter what I try, i can't get it to save my game. . I hope someone can figure this out and help all of us who can't save their games.
