Well IMHO Alcohol is too hot and bitter for me, it smells to.

In addition, the effects of it are also lethal to health. So why shall I go for even a single shot?

i agree..drinking isn't bad in moderation.

Drinking alcohol is just like eating food, its good in controlled amounts. If both aren't controlled they're a risk to health.

Ha, it sounds like you're talking about coffee. Caffeine too can be lethal to the body if misused, just like alcohol.

Which is why I stay away from both. I don't mind the caffeine in coffee (huge Coke drinker here), I just hate the taste, but there's a pretty flipping obvious reason why alcohol banned in Islam, and I intend to respect that reason.

You're right.

But coffee isn't so repulsive in taste for first timers as it is for alcohol. I tasted it 4 times in life, all of them with my father's british friends - They never settled over water.

I hate coffee, even though I've tried several times.

I didn't like alcohol the first time I drank it but nowadays do, I'd choose it over coffee any time.

I had my first drink sometime in the mid-ish 1980s at the hands of a Bundeswehr sergeant.

I went drinking last night and I came home at three. I just got up 30 minutes ago and I have a crapload of food in front of me.
Orange Juice, Chicken Soup, Omelet, a Sandwich, and a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich.
Mother is right now making me Kraft Dinner.

I don't think drinking is bad, but it can be in big amounts.
It just makes me really hungry when I wake up. haha
