xyaba if you have trouble with the trainer... just use ArtMoney its a easy to use tool. With this tool you have 99999999$ quickly.
For happiness there is a cheat code out.
during play just type : pachangasi - this adds 10% happiness every time you type it.

I do have the same issues. It will work the first time you use it after the map loads, however upon next map load it and activation, it will immediately crash the game.

Another issue is if you activate the trainer on the main menu it will lock up the game.
