I'll download it again and have a look, may not get to it till tomorrow. Unfortunately, trainers are made for official patches and releases so there will not be a new one made for an offsite 3rd party fix.

Got Trainer #1. Resident Evil 5 Trainer (DX9 02.02.2017) from here
Fresh install of the game, GFWL did have an error and could not fully install, but the game fired right up and trainer worked without any issues for me.

I have circumvented the need for the patch by just finding the most recent version of the GFWL client and installing it. You don't need to be logged into it for the game to work but for some reason it still needs to be installed on my PC for the game to launch without use of the patch.
Unfortunately the game does crash when I try to use the trainer and originally I thought it might be because of the patch, same as a previous poster, but it still happens with an unpatched version of the game.
Edit: Unpatched and mod-free, I should add. Seems like it works for some and not for others such as myself. Interesting.

I can't figure this out. I have resident evil 5 version 1.1.0 from steam. I got the games for windows live update on windows 10 so it runs but the game with the tainer crashes to desktop 100% of the time. I tried them all. The gold one just doesn't find the game since i don't have gold edition. Am i doing something wrong? I can't figure this one out I tried. Can someone please help me?

I've already submitted an update request. But as mentioned above, the game immediately crashes upon loading gameplay (story, Mercenaries mode, etc.) No options enabled, simply having the trainer enabled immediately crashes the application when in-game.
I've tested both versions of the trainer (Gold/Vanilla), with and without 'running as administrator' first, on both unpatched and patched versions of the game.

I also posted a trainer update request. On Feb 28 2023, they posted a new update and I can't use the trainer anymore (I hadn't any problem before).
When I activate either options, it says "activated" but none of the effects take place (sometimes it even crash).
I hope someone will fill a third report for the update to be evaluated.
