My question is: are these graphics going to look good or bad because i remember hulk,saints row 2 looking good on console and looking like on PC, any ideas?

Not many people are able to max out newer games at 1080P, but the consoles can't even medium-spec most games at their native resolutions, as consoles are capped at Direct X 9.0c.
I expect Prototype to be very good graphics wise for an open-world game. Certainly can't be any worse optimized than GTA4 where no matter what I set anything to in terms of graphics I had horrible lag on my semi-modern machine.
But I focus more on the gameplay anyway. It looks fun. 'Nuff said.

my brother downloaded it for the xbox360 (modded) and i must say its a hell of a awsome game graphics are really awsome ,. but thats console .,for the pc till now there only circels Fake's on the web so we have to be patience
Technically speaking, it is the 9th, it's just that not everyone is stocking and selling them till the 10th, which is kinda confusing.
My local retailers aren't stocking it till tomorrow (the 10th), but that's fine by me.

Okay, I managed to get it via some sweet talking with a Gamestop guy I knew and lemme say it is AWESOME! Graphics aren't really spectacular but what will get you is how great the character models (especially the faces) and the animations are...anyhoo, I'm running a Q6600 OC'd @ 3.0GHz, 4GB DDR2-800 RAM, and 2x8800GT's w/ no AA, 1680x1050 res and the highest settings and I'm averaging ~50fps, though it drops to ~38-40 fps during big battles.

Try disabling SLI. Some game engines actually see lower performance with SLI/CrossFire enabled.
