I installed Windows Vista in hope of getting the game to not freeze...(The game freeze without the trainer also, but I could play a little more before the game crashed...)
Now I can't start the trainer. I just got a message saying "Damnation Trainer has stopped working"
Seems that the trainer is not working under SP2 to windows vista... So I run it in compatibility mode; Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1) and then it started. I gonna edit this post when I have tested the game!
EDIT:
I have tested the game and it's not the trainer that make the game crash! The game just crash itself... It's seems that I can play for some minutes longer when setting th compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2!
I have the steam v. of the game, whenever i die or fall off a cliff the game crashes with the trainer at all parts of the game. I'm running vista 32 w/ SP2.
i have started to play the game using the retail trainer, and suddenly when i am pushing the button 1 it sounds the de- activated sound(of course first i pushed the F1)
I have the same problem when i die i keep crashing to the desktop, when i turn off the trainer it does not happen. i have a retail disk and i am running xp home. so iam sorry to say something must be wrong with the trainer.
