Well i have tryed to get the console to work on both Hammer of Fate and Tribes of the east, but i seriosly dont get it down. I bind it and read everything you should do and done it. But it dosent wanna get down. It's working perfect on the first game Heroes of Might and Magic 5, but non of the expantions. Dont know if i have to reinstall and try again or what should i do? Thanks
no you don't have to.check them again,maybe there's something wrong with the spaces between the words,if not,do everything again in the game's profile in my document/my games.there should be a HOMM5 file there with input_a2 and autoexec files . if it still don't work ,reinstall and do it again ,copy and paste the lines work well without mistakes.don't type
This happened to me initially, but then I noticed that I had accidentally placed the "show_console" keybind on the map editor section of the input_a2.cfg (I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the file to place the keybind). Check where you put the keybind and move it to the top of the file if its placed in the wrong section.
