I hate to say it, but Madden 09 was one of the worst football games I've ever played. Your O-line let go of the opposing team so your RB would get crushed at the line. Your safties follow their own paths, instead of a reciever. Their safeties didn't exist until the ball was thrown, a man was wide open, and then 4 safties come out of the ground and block/intercept the ball.
Madden games just have seemed to lose sight of what football is supposed to be. Sure, it looks good, but who cares about looks when the game play sucks? Of cours the EA and Madden fan boys will stick up for this one, but no matter what, I won't buy anything after Madden 07 no matter what you say. I'll only get 10 if they make it FOOTBALL instead of a fashion show for football games.
I'll be playing NFL 2K5 now, the real football game.

Yeah I think I will do the same as you! It's a waste of money and time to even think about buying the next Madden I want a game thats realistic where you can actually make defensive stops and follow receivers to make a big play...
