First i am having a problme with the sound files in the game maybe some are missing but i can't hear any gunfire or cannon fire there is just the music and unit tunts. Second the game stalls when i finsh the first battle in the sub campaign.

are you using the razor release? There release has sound problems. If not try reinstalling or updating your drivers. I installed the game three times and took off shadows to make my game run stable, or else every turn with my ships it would crash =X
I don't know if it's a Razor but it is irrgular we don't have any originals in my country. . And my specs are more than able to get the game going but i don't know why it stalls in that campaign only on the loading screen after you kill a cuple of indeans.

Update your game using the razor update (the update comes with the crack too). But make sure you also get the sound fix. It is about 500MB something download.
