Burnout: Paradise Message Board  

Umm okay i need help...

when i start burnout paradise after screen which says ''press any key'' game screen goes black... i can see my cursor and hear music but no interface ??? wtf ??? but it didnt happened before ?!?!?

Hi buddy! If you are using firewall like ZoneAlarm or anything else then shutdown firewall and start game when you enter in junk yard then press ctrl+Esc and start your firewall program.

Start playing game and within some seconds game will minimize and your firewall ask you that "burnout" is trying act as a server etc etc. ALLOW THAT AND PLAY YOUR GAME.

HOPE YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED.

This problem only occurs in the latest EA Games (Like Dead Space)...The possible reasons are,

1) You don't have a good graphics card, or have outdated drivers...

2) Installed to many programs in your system

3) Have less RAM.

4) You have adjusted a higher screen resoulution for the game...try to run the game in low settings...keep resoulution 800x600. If game runs fast - consider having medium settings..

5) Update game to latest patch.

6) If nothing works till now...Apply a No Intro Patch...that shall work..

Last...If you fail till now - Download program called FFDShow...Add the game's main.exe (BurnoutParadise.exe) to its list...

Now it shall work!!! Hope so...
