Ok, my question is thus:

I've sailed 2 of my fleets, each with a single Indiamen, into 2 different trade locations off of Madagascar. However, while their flags begin flashing, there is no little dotted line trade route coming from either one. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something more that I need to do, like sailing the indiamen back to Sweden before the trade route is created?

I don't think you need to get it back. At least with the dutch, as soon as you move the trade ship into the spot, the route would go up automatically. Maybe it has something to do with full capacity with your port?

Don't think that they are maxed out. I'm trading with France and England only, and I've got 3 semi-upgraded trade ports.

I've had them parked there for a few years, but nothing is coming through. I'm going to check and see if the central trade route heading back to the ports actually displays any data once I get back from work.

They're rolling out a patch next week to fix this =P

As long as the spots are not filled. It works for me, but for many people it doesn't work even if the spots are not full. Make sure your ports are not maxed out, it's in the government tab and under trade.
