ok, now it crashes, after "activated", loads my game, if i do anything.. like push on the gas... CRASH! ive tried EVERYTHING in the trubleshooter... any ideas?
if it's crashing then your version doesn't match (we have multiple trainers for different game versions), you need a no-cd fix, or something is interfering with it like antivirus.

hmmm... i turned off my AVG antivirus, turned off the UAC(user account control, vista only) deleted NFS then reinstalled it, repatched it to match the tranier virsion, put the trainer in the same file as the game (trubleshoot says to do that).. so im stumped.
can you tell me how to check witch virsion NFS is running? i dont see the virsion anywhere... want to make sure the patch took, thanks
i have the same problem as SIMONP, a clean install of undercover and patch to 1.0.1.17 with the correct no-cd and trainer, the game starts fine and the trainer activates because i get the trainer activated feller. but when i load up a saved game it just crashes at the stage where it says loading. straight to desktop with no error report or log.
Same for me too.. Game starts fine, Trainer activates fine.. but then when i want to load the game via either savegame or new game it just crashes to desktop no errors or messages of any kind..

i cop an error window, ie "appfail version whatever" but yeah, same issues as the rest for the trainer, mines an AU copy which apparently requires the UK patch as i tried the US and failed, guess thats the issue
edit: if someone upped a US version (unedited as theres no no-cd crack out that i can see) 1.0.1.17 .exe and possibly paul.dll, would that conceivably work?

Vista 32 4 gb ram 2 GTX 280s in SLI
and no anti virus
Where can one get a no cd fix without aorrying about trojans and worms?
For everyone else: This is a strange situation, also dont use a EURO or US crack on a AUS version of the game, it wont work most of the time due to file structures are different per area. This is true for other versions of the game and cracks from different areas also.
Perhaps caliber can let people know what his set up was when he did the trainer and tested it.
