Ok....I FINALLY got past this. Like the other poster said the doors wouldn't open AFTER I beat Alma. I just kept doing it over and over and finally, the doors stayed open and I was able to jump down the elevator shaft. I don't know if it is a glitch or what. Just keep trying. 🤔

Thanks Rodimus, last night I started to think the same as you. Maybe I'll backup my savegame and profile, and reinstall the game and see what happens. Thanks for the help anyways....

The lift doors just close after I beat Alma.

I must have tried it 30 times!!!

It has been awhile since I played but isn't there another elevator one must use?

Tried now about 40 times

You're not supposed to find another elevator. You are supposed to use the same elevator you came in. After Alma tries to "molest" you , if the doors close, just pry it open until they are completely open, then jump down.

However, after I beat Alma, the doors close and it will not allow me to prise them open again.

It does not matter which angle or approach to the closed again doors, it will not allow me to use "E" to prise them open.

Hope this makes sense
