I'm French and sorry for my poor English...

Your Sacred game editor works correctly with heroes but with the dragon mage when you want to change the difficulty to Niob and you save this change, it doesn't work in the Game!

redgbreaker, I had no problem with my Dragonmage. Maybe you could upload yours somewhere so I could see why he doesn't want to play Niob. (Maybe he's just afraid of strong mobs. )

Seryn, I have made a few experiments to locate where the hairstyle information could be hidden, but alas I had no luck. So still no hair changes for now.

I have fixed the High Elf CA mistake, lngc16506's sharp eye caught. The bugfixed version of the editor can be downloaded, as always, from mediafire.

PS. Since with the each and every fix the editor gets more stable and works better, I am going to delete all the older versions from mediafire catalog soon. I don't know if someone used them purposedly, not wanting to update to the latest version for some reason, but it's always better to update your software.

I've just tested your new game editor and now it works perfectly with the dragon mage when I change his level. This change is now ok I play.

PS : Is it possible in a future new game editor to change the hero's god because actually it's impossible...

Glad it works for you now, though I didn't even touch the difficulty part.
As for the gods, I'm afraid you cannot change them that easily. I mean, if you just wanted to change the god's name that is displayed in the game menu, that would be no problem. But I guess you're more interested in the god-given skill. And changing that is not so easy because of the way they are stored inside the save file. To change them I would have to figure out where the offsets (section lengths) are hidden and although I tried many times, I have not been able to find them.
So unfortunatelly, no god skill editing in near future.

By the way and totally offtopic, I just got my hands on what seems to be an another promising hack-and-slash game. The name's Torchlight. It's not like Sacred at all, more like Diablo (not the graphics, of course ). Even the music seems similar, but that's to be expected, as the music composer is not other than Matt Uelmen (or so I've read somewhere). According to many sources the game will be sooner or later released as a MMO, but for now it is quite a nice single player treat with many modding possibilities, when the developers finally release the editor for the game (and they promise to do that soon ). So if someone needs a (naturally not a long) brake from Sacred maybe you will like Torchlight.
