Weel, thanks to sven_wilde some German players can have their Drachenmagier edited now without much problems. First of all, none of dragon mage specific skills have been translated. sven_wilde's char had only 3 of them (I guess) - with IDs: 3D, 3E and 3F. But as I have no idea which is which, they appear in skill list as SKILL_SOMETHING. It may be possible, that some unexpected bytes (used for the remaining 3 skills) can crash the editor. In that case please upload the save and I will correct it. Secondly, combat arts are given their German names, as specified in savefile (so for egsample the dm_me_mahlstrom CA is labbelled as mahlstrom). The modifications are not titled at all, and are simply called up1, dw1, etc. Nevertheless they are readable and editable, if you disable 'safe editing checkbox'. Counting modification points is disabled as I have no idea which skill (byte) is for which CA. So available points will always be 0. This will be fixed once I get my hands on the expansion. Now all is left is to wait for expansion to be released outside of Germany (I hope it will be released in Poland soon).
Download the editor here: LINK DELETED. Please use the latest, bugfixed version a few posts below.
Have fun cheating. (How is that in German?)

Hi Karach
The most I could find out was that the decoder was created by "a few canny russians". That's as far as I got. There was an e-mail at the bottom of the page where the other editor could be found.
Did you try to e-mail the creator of that editor to see if he knows any more? [Edited by jimbouk, 9/6/2009 1:04:07 PM]

Yes, it did, sven_wilde, danke. The skills are listed on SacredWiki, but I decided not to implement the translations, simply because I do not know which byte corresponds to which skill. jimbouk, thanks for the sources. I will see what I can make of them, and who knows, maybe even drop a word to the creators of s2sdec. Meanwhile, waiting for the expansion, and hoping it will be released in Poland soon. Come on, distributors, we're not far from Germany!

jimbouk, you rock. The sources you have found allowed me to compress the chest files after I've made a small modification. I will thoroughly test this when I'm at home, but I think achievemets modifications have just become possible. BTW, Sacred 2 uses zlib libraries to compress and decompress saves. Thanks go to our Russian brothers for finding that (so long ago, I may add) and creating the decoder.

Well, here it is. The relase 0.7.0 of the editor that allows you to edit achievements. It works (as far as I have tested), but I plan to add some adjustments. But if someone would hastily need to edit their achievements, this one allows you to. A word: there is another decoder added with the release. It's named s2sdec_chest and it is recompiled by me with a small modification from the Russian sources that jimbouk found. I couldn't build it in Windows using MinGW, but have done that within cygwin environment. Hence the cygwin1.dll which is needed to run s2sdec_chest is added to the archive. It's quite big, considering it is only needed to run the chest decoder, but bear with it. I plan to remove it if I find a way to recompile it in MinGW.
You can download the editor here: LINK REMOVED. BUGFIX BELOW. I will upload the sources when I finish the adjustments I mentioned.
Have fun cheating.

Hi Karach0s,
very cool feature. But the achievements cannot be saved. If I reopen the savegame or look within the game the achievements are the same as before.
I have uploaded my char and chest: www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=9c7cc41e48c861dde7c82ed4b8f0c3800368e99da8772f0fce018c8114394287
It was created with game version 2.64 (Ice & Blood)
