epic and live put a limit on how many times u can install your gears of war (PC) thats even more bs cuz i payed 50 $ for this game and now i cant play it any more bc i had to reinstall it. its all good thou cuz i called them took 2 hr on the phone but im getting a new gears of war in the mail. to all dont reinstall gears it might not let u play it on live any more.
If you can prove you bought it, its a case of contacting them to reinstate install amounts.
Also the reason for why most developers/publishers wait until releasing on the PC is because they want to get as much revenue as they can from console versions first, as the PC market is plagued by warez releases.
If the trend continues it could happen that publishers and developers will no longer support the PC market.

yes..i know there isn't a GOW 2 for the pc. i was telling UNA that..but i needed to verify his info first before responding. its very sad when people kick the ladder they so readily use to get to the top. without the PC...Console's wouldn't exist. Game developers should remember that.they'd be wise not to forget it. no matter how big the console game market becomes its always going to be like a grain of sand compared to the PC game market because of sheer size of the pc market, every pc today has the ability to run games to varying degrees of success...but they can run games nonetheless. how can console game developers ever hope to match that. on the other hand..consoles r good for only entertainment purposes..unlike the pc's...which is a multi-utility product. good for both work and entertainment.

I think your getting muddled up a lot in that paragraph there.
The PC has varying degrees of game running successes yes, so does consoles and the fact consoles are a specific hardware build that everyone is practically the same - give or take the hard disk sizes used.
And at the moment the PC market is like a grain of sand to the console market, so where you get this idea that its the other way about is quite unfounded.

the sheer size of numbers of PCs around the world makes it a huge market...and since almost all pc's can run games...that makes it a huge market....do u know how many 360's were sold in India? around 5000 pieces...and u know how many people have pc's and run games on it too..just in my locality...3 times that number. u can do a country by country statistics..u'll get the numbers u need to know. PCs gave birth to consoles. Period. Game developers like EPIC etc. wouldn't be around if it wasn't for the PC. U have to respect that. i have a 360 and a PS3..just for kicks...but i mostly enjoy PC gaming. IT'll always be number one...for me..and for a lot of gamers out there.

From what I have read at the Epic Games forum, they are more than likely not porting it to the PC due to the "epic" amount of illegal copies that were on the internet for it. They also stated that the copies sold of the PC edition weren't going to well.
But I wouldn't count it completely out. If they do port it, they better fix the load bugs when you first try to boot up the game. I didn't buy it to play try to get our ported game to boot. It takes me at least 6+ attempts before the first one booted. Never got to play online co-op, the game would always freeze when we load in to a level.

i hear ya...plenty of bugs in the game. but i still enjoyed playing it. remember to turn off the trainer after completing a level before the cut-scenes load...any cut-scene..keep the trainer off. it causes the game to crash. atleast that's what i kept experiencing.
