Fallout 3 Message Board  

I need some help. I installed the latest GFWL just now but before that ... I had changed the Fallout3 (.cat) file to get the trainer to work without crashing the game ---but now I have a serious problem.

So I have the latest GFWL update + XP hotfix, and after renaming the CAT file back and clicking "LIVE"...it doesn't do anything. Like...nothing. Just greys out the other options, and nothing else.

Anyone who had this..please help ?

Thanks for the reply..but clearly you have given me the exact OPPOSITE of what I wanted which leads me to believe you completely ignored what I was saying...

I want to enable GFWL...and I have taken the steps but they didn't work...

Problem was solved long ago a few while after original post: Reinstall Fallout 3 and backup your Fallout 3 game saves under 'My Documents' and replace them after install, full patches, windows live Redistributable (full files and login screen one). This is due to corrupt Security Catalog after rename.
