Just start playing today then 15 mins later it crash to desktop and got me this error msg. Has anybody experience the same thing? Anybody know the solution? Help please..

If you have an ati card, this might help (some people say the error dissapeared)

These are Beta driver thou...it's at your own risk (check the message to see if there are real worries with those driver)

From the list of code, it's a "out of video memory" problem...
Also , you can try to reduce the detail of the game to reduce the memory usage (best to make it goes down so that the memory level is at green...)

thx for that. I have Ati HD4870X2 and i set the every details in max except the distance so the memory can stay as green.

I use 8.11 atm but ill try 8.12 beta as u suggested.

That's sad to see such problem with such good video card

I'm searching right now to see if there is a solution (apparently a lot of ati user have this error (but not everyone))

Some talk about net framework 3.5 (thou i'm not sure it's linked since the error is definitaly "video memory" )

Doesn't sound that good for you, i'll update if i find something but for now, most people that have the problem tried most of the trick with no luck
let's hope the patch will fix that and be out soon...
But i'll still give a look (in case of)

This crash means you have run out of video memory. It is due to a monumental video memory leak and there is absolutely no way to fix it without an official patch. Even if you set your graphics settings to minimum it will still happen (perhaps less often). I get it too and i have 1Gb of video memory. Exit the Social Club program, then log off and log back on again otherwise it will be worse the second time you launch the game. If you want the best performance, restart the computer after each crash, it seems to help.

Rockstar clearly couldn't be bothered. System resource management is a fairly fundamental part of coding and they still screwed it up. I've never even heard of a leak in the VIDEO memory before... I regret purchasing this game, they dont deserve the money. Its like selling a car with square wheels that can only be replaced by the manufacturer, then promising people they can get the round wheels a week or so after purchase. The "we can just patch it later" attitude has to stop, its killing PC gaming (not piracy, as Rockstar would have you believe).
