Because then you have a command line that looks something like this:
H:\Programmer\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 21760

what u have to do in steam is go to the My Games tab, right click on WIC, go to properties, then under the General tab click set launch options. now u can add "-stabilityfactor 10"

so its the unpatched game? if so update it to 1.1.0 and us the cheatengine trainer table. stability factor usually works well against the crash from using god mode but not always, but the god mode in the table doesnt crash the game at all so unless ur game is unstable anyway u wont need the exe extension anymore.
cheers

are u running any mods, how long has ur game crashed, and does using a trainer change this? please test ur game without any mods, and without trainers/cheats if ur game still crashes (even with the stability command) i suggest reinstalling ur game
