Hi, I tried using the 1.3 Trainer on my Witcher game but everytime I activate it(F1) in the menu it crashes to the desktop on the loading screen afterward or if I do it in game it crashes immediately. I've followed the instructions carefully and ran the trainer before the game as instructed and even got rid of my antivirus running in the background. What am I doing worng? I've also heard of this offline key, do I need that to make it run properly?

I've had a look at that and none of those helped me. I even tried running the trainer in the same folder and running after the game is launched. I'm not using Vista either, I'm using XP SP2 and my game has been updated to 1.3(I got the patch off the official site). I would have tried to use a fix but none exist for 1.3 at the moment. This isn't a downloaded game either, it's a retail DVD version.

i had the same problem... if i ran the cheathappens trainer or any other for that matter the witcher would not even load... so the simple solution was to go around it the other way... load the witcher... ALT-TAB load the trainer ... and then done. it worked for me... or was that vice versa... can't remember... but i got the craps early in the game with that hound dog with little hounds following it... so i needed to OMG cheat!!! to all those that read that and say lame... get f'ed i bought my copy legit... i can play it how i want!!! nyah nyah nyah
