At the risk of sounding like an idiot.....does "International" mean , or include the good ole USA ??? Or am I still waiting on a USA friendly trainer for Clear Sky ? If it will take you a long time and you are waiting on a copy of the game...I will have newegg.com ship a copy to you....as you can see , Im eager for a trainer for this game. I've had feedback that if you update using the 1.5.03 patch that our trainer will work for all versions. We don't have our copy to test yet, so can't validate that. We probably won't get our copy until the 15th as the place we pre-ordered it from got the recall notice before shipping it out (unlike Newegg).
BTW -- The game is now backordered on New Egg with no new shipments until 09/12.

Thanks for the quick reply, I didnt think to check with newegg first....I'll try the patch and see how that goes. I really thought the recall was just rumors and hear-say. On my rig the game (both of them ) run smooth as silk and look even better. This past Monday is the first time I ever had a problem with STALKER. My F-Secure A-V says a piece of my first STALKER game has a virus ....I cant even install the first game again ! Not yet. Anyway, thanks for the effort so far. John

I've got the US version as well i think.. although i reside in Australia.. I've tried updating my copy but to no avail.. the game simply says there are no available updates for my copy.. which is 1.5.0.1 , looks like I'll have to wait a while for a trainer and such as well..
I will try applying the patch manually.. but i fear that this will not work..
I hate it when i'm Right.. that sense of foreboding was correct.. 1.5.01 cannnot be updated by the 1.5.03 patch.. *sigh*

Thanks for saving me the time. Thats one of the things I was concerned about...my copy was showing 1.5.01 and I didnt think the 03 patch would work. I was willing to try just about anything -it seems to me that this game is tougher with the anomolies. I think the game would be more interesting if dying wasnt so easy. If there was an easier way to throw a bolt ....having to open up the inventory and select a bolt ...Im 51years old and apparently not as quick as I once was ! So ! Enough complaining....sure hope you guys get an American copy soon....jwill58
