i cant run the TagesSetup.exe please sombuddy help me

Assuming that you have a legit copy of Dark Star One, just install the full game from the DVD - and before you start to play - go to Ascron's Dark Star One page or some other patch resource and download & install the 1.3.1416 Patch - filename: darkstar1_3_eng_enu.exe

Install that and you won't even need to install or run the Tages thing. Be sure to set the game to run in XP compatible mode if you're running Windoz Vista.

You might also want to check out the official Dark Star One Forum from Ascaron. No cheat help here but plenty of advice for gameplay. (213.198.65.214/forum_DS/index.php)

If you are going to run any of the CH Trainers be sure you have the NoCD Patch from GameBurnWorld. The trainers are apparently written specifically for the NoCD 1.3.1416 version of the game.

The trainers cause some video glitches unless you install the correct patch (DARKSTAR ONE v1.3 [ENGLISH/GERMAN/RUSSIAN] NO-DVD/FIXED EXE (1.63MB))- there are three game files you have to overwrite... be safe and back up your original files before you do this. The install directions are either incorrect or unclear...

"Update the game to the state of 1.3 version (if it`s not in this state). Extract "DarkStarOne.exe" into your game folder overwriting the original file.Now, according to the language that is used in the game,

ENG - for English, French
GER - for German
RUS - for Russian

Extract "WalPlugSpace.wex" and "WalPostFilter.wex" into the folder mentioned above, i.e. game folder, overwriting two files.
You must totally overwrite 3 files."

Files to overwrite
DarkStarOne.Exe
WalPlugSpace.wex
WalPostFilter.wex

Also overwrite the appropriate "WalPlugSpace.wex" and "WalPostFilter.wex" files into the main DarkStarOne directory! If you don't do this your video will be buggy & unplayable!
