I Have a question about the text messages recieved once a month sent to my cell number. Since I've been a member I've been recieving the text messages and also my cell phone co. is charging me for these text messages. Now just to clear up a few questions,,, No I do not have free texting! And I don't get any text messages from anybody except from cheat happens. And Finally I talked to my cell phone co. about these outrageous fees on my bill and they specified it was text messages on my phone. And I know it sounds Ludakris that I'm getting Charged a very big fee($14.00-$16.00)extra on my phone bill each and every month. The reason I'm asking to speak to an Administator or someone that can help me with my little problem is to find out if I can either stop getting the text messages or cancel my cheathappens account! I don't want to cancel my account. So if Someone can help me to solve this problem that will be greatly appreciated. Cheathappens has my cell number, please call me to settle this small problem before it escalates into something a little different from just another complaint!!! Thank You.

this is a very strange occurrence, i don't believe we've had any cases of this website sending texts to anybody before....and cheathappens does not collect/store personal information about any user.
i may be wrong, but i doubt cheathappens has anything to do with it...
did this site ask for your cell number?

I don't ever remember an option for adding phone/cell number during registration.

We do not send out text messages. We don't even have your cell phone number (we don't collect any phone numbers for any reason). We also don't send anything out once per month. You need to look into another source for these messages. You can probably have your cell provider block these messages or service. You probably put your cell number into an advertisement and signed up for some monthly service.
