I was doing the quest for the theives guild where you have to get the Boots of Springheel Jack. Well I did this and took it to the Grey Fox and after that he just left and didn't take the boots, so now I can't proceed any further in the Theives guild.
Is this fixable?

The game burps like that sometimes, try reloading the game before that quest and doing it again. Maybe that'll do it.

I can't reload it before the quest without starting a new game.
It is a bug but it's only fixable on the pc version.
