Hi, did somebody manage to play this mod on 2.301? I looked into file SpecialTanksAddon.module and there are some links to files that don't exist. Like: SpecialTanksAddon\Archives\SpecialTanksAddonArt or SpecialTanksAddon\Archives\SpecialTanksAddonSoundHigh. Also many files are empty. I'm not a moder so I don't uderstand it. If it's going to be updated for this version of OF I would like to ask if there can be raised population limit and combine it with Ewiger Krieg Mod. Thanx PS: Sorry for grammar, I'm from Czech Rep.

Don't worry about combining it with Ewiger Krieg, it is literally everything that even "ULTIMATE Special Tanks Mod" is and dozens of times more.

Ewiger Krieg all by itself has countless things even the versions of Spec Tank Mod I expanded upon wasn't practically capable of in its current form.

As for mod files being empty, it's a formatting thing, the game looks for them, so it's easier just to leave them even if they are empty and the modder isn't intending to change anything in those areas of the game. By leaving the folders empty, it's basically a note to the game to just use the normal/default values for that file.

Thanks, I've tryed it and really like it. Works great on 2.301, but King Tiger should cost more then only man power, at least 260 fuel, or limit it to one or two at time, because its armour is tough and Pershing or Sherman Firefly is no match for it. It's dificult to stop one alone but almost impossible to stop three or more with support, multiplayer battle is different than fight againts AIs.

If limited to two or setting fuel cost then if it's possible to rise population limit and lower fuel cost of Pershing from 180 if Im right to 150 or 140. So game will be more iterresting. And I miss abillity to destroy my own buildings with delete (bunkers, 88s, pillboxes, ect.), sometimes it's necessary. Units voices aren't that important but I miss them somehow. So or so, it's very good mod, can say the best I tried. Keep up the good work.

The newest version at the link above has building costs taken into account for the King Tiger and Jagdpanther, the version uploaded on Cheat Happens is plenty good, but many many additions and improvements have been made even since that version. It also fixes the sound issues.

As for the power of the Germans, I've said many times even in this thread that without the restrictions on them, the Wehrmacht is by far the most powerful faction, followed by the Panzer Elite, and unfortunately until Relic gets off their duff and releases a complete SDK (or at least the Object Editor), no more options than what the Allies have built into the game already can be given to them to bring balance to the land-slide advantage in armor the German factions enjoy.

If/when such a thing happens, there will of course be a flood of new and different tanks, almost certainly including the American T-28, British Tortoise, and of course German Panzer VIII Maus, E-100, Löwe, and perhaps even the ridiculous mobile fortresses P-1000 and P-1500.

As it stands though, the cost for King Tigers in Ewiger Krieg is fairly steep and the build time is agonizingly long compared to the Allies, who should be focusing on mobility and numbers anyway. This isn't to say that makes it "fair" because it still isn't, and I've never claimed that it is anything even resembling balanced
