I'm with mission 5, and all of my settlers are ill and are striking, so I can't ''upgrade'' my knigh

I need help(ill settlers)

I'm with mission 5, and all of my settlers are ill and are striking, so I can't ''upgrade'' my knight...And I need to upgrade him to get the tavern. And give the mead(from the tavern) to the vikings, so that they can help me...

So..basically I'm stuck, Does someone know what I must do?

If you give them the cleaning supplies (soap and brooms) they need, they won't get sick.

That's weird, I had alot of brooms and soap.

I started over with the woman with healing powers, completed it and now I'm with mission 8.
