i can get much more dummer, i just cant see the reason and yes the main races(orcs, humanz, chaos, spacemarines and eldar) must be present, and i guess every addon race will have a minor role(tau, necron and etc) but im almost positive that space battles would be a big minus for DoW universe its all about brutal planet conquerment, and if such a system is in the game they might as well announce it, it would help a lot in the advertisement.

hmm u mean tyranids ere pre-planned by devs but they didnt work it out for the first game so fans made them and now they're officially in the second part? well thats realistic enough thanx.

i know that but i think that the space battles should be like wen they try to land on the planet but they colide with a diffrent army
wait wait DoW without space marines? now THAT would be a mistake of cuz, we still dont know for sure but...
I was on about the Tyranids lol i know they're gunna be puttin in Space Marines and Eldars cuz Dawn of War without them just wouldnt be Dawn of War lol But yeah they havent finalized whether they're gunna put in Chaos, all they've shown is the Space Marines, Eldar and Orks, if you actually watch the teasers and the interviews on the webisites you will see that lol...but as i said subraces would be awsome as well to give each race a different look set of core infantry etc make the battles more colourful
i gotta agree with sub-races, remember dark crusad,e the tau race, they had those dino-things, kroot i think, was a nice option.
and about chaos i think they're just trying to make the race a little more different that their absolute clone space amrines. i mean, they just have magic powered vehicles, a little different builders i think, and blood over their armor, its all the same in other aspects.

Yeah i agree, so it would be nice to see a different approach for instance maybe (using the subrace idea) give them the option to be led by a Chaos lord who prefers to use infantry giving the army infantry bonuses and bonus troops then a sorta daemon lord who focuses on obviously the daemon side of the Chaos army giving them different core units and vehicles (which could easily just be huge daemons)
and yeah thats one thing that made me like the tau race because it meant that atleast 50% of the battles could be fought with different units, but i would like to see more than 2 sub races
So i have looked for Informations about Dawn of War 2. And on FilePlanet, i have read. That they put in all Races that are currently in. And new ones, i only know of Tyranids. And i found a Video from them on Fileplanet. gotta download it later
