nope.. this game doesnt do much of micromanagement... battles are handled to a point by the ai... you only decide who commands your troops and how many of them and what type (infantry cavalry siege) are there

I gota say I do enjoy this game alot theres only a few flaws that need to be fixed like the generals for example cant have a decent sized army cuz they keep revolting all the time even if they were 100% loyal at the beginning and they could use some action sequences and they need to stop killing my dang envoys everytime i ask for something but besides that id say its a pretty good game
