Hi,

The only thing that I can suggest is to check where Soulstorm is installed and have a look for a 'crash.log' or in the 'warnings.log' files and see if there is anything that gives a clue to what is happening.

The trainer may be conflicting with something or the game is having problems, usually the 'warnings.log' file has something listed to what is happening in the game engine.

Follow the instructions of the trainer, but do not load #1- Fog of War, #5- Special Unit Powers and #8- Instant Buildings. IMO these aren't needed. The one thing I did notice with the complaints about crashes was that many people mentioned #8- Instant Buildings. Once I turned that off my game stopped crashing. There will be a freeze up in the game for a few seconds, but don't worry about that it'll continue as normal. Once this occur you'll not have any more problems with the game crashing. At least I haven't, heh heh!

If you are using the proper version of the game with the applied fix, then the trainer should work.

But do make sure, anti-virus, firewall or anti-spyware tools or a like, are not blocking the trainer from accessing the game. I had my firewall's application protection asking me whether to allow the trainer or not.

I'm using avast and Zone Alarm Firewall(Given access and authority to the trainer).

By not activating the following options
1-FOW,
5-Special Unit Power,
8-Instant buildings.

The game works perfectly without crashing

I just tried the trainer myself and found that the trainer actually stuffs the game up, I tried the 5 - Special Unit Power for Ork Waaggh but it stuffed the game that I couldn't build anything as I couldn't get the the build menu when I selected gretchin.

When I tried any other options they wouldn't work either.

well for me this trainer works just fine, the only thing that makes the game crash is the instant build option, so i would advise not using that, build more builders to build ur stuff faster and use the other trainer stuff and all will work fine! this is a great trainer made by a great team! GJ CHEATHAPPENS! ^^

I've crashed 3 times in the last hour while using this trainer. Without it I never crash. Here is the crash log..

poster are u sure ur using the right no-cd fix thingy? cause that seems to be the problem with all the other guys sayin the trainer doesn't work!
this trainer only made my game crash two times and i've been using it since it got public released, so it must be like two weeks now! and those two times it crashed it was cause of the instant building thing (which i don't use no more, i just do more builders and construct the buildings faster )
that error u got probably is the same thing the others have so u might wanna ask one of them what they done so u can do the same ! HF playin this game
