Why does it matter? Are you supposed to spell something out? I'm stuck on the Ruins of Alph. Can you help me figure it out?

Theres a Rumour that you can get Mew if you have all unowns but its just a rumour. But its cool to complete the unown dex (I have only completed it in Crystal though)

Cool! I Could only afford the silver version. Can you get mew in the silver version?...Oh! Do you know what to do after you complete the first puzzle in the ruins? I walked to the black whole and fell in and It dropped me in the ruins, now I don't know what to do because all thats there is statues and pokemon...But I know your supposed to do something to open a wall or something because theres an opening on the other side when I look at it from out side. I can't figure it out!

You cannot get mew without cheating/trading. Each puzzle you complete releases different kinds of unown into the main chamber. I dont know about silver, but in each of the puzzle rooms theres also something written on the wall. One of them says Water so you use a water stone on a pokemon, and Escape means to use an escape rope.
