can anybody tell me how to get this thing easier??? i know this has been frequently asked in a lot of forums but non of em things that they've been saying seems to werk! i killed like a bunch of azure raths, 9 silver raths, a whole clan of reg. raths and no rubies?! i already have like gazillion zennies out of doin quests for this item man! ahhhhhhhhhh!!! i got 7 rathian rubies though, as if like this game is playin wit me man! oh my God..please help me... and oh, i've been runnin this quests for 2 weeks now!....

Onslaught Hammer with Silver Rathalos, don't kill it, capture it

Another strategy is do the G-quest pink and azure. Go soley after azure and just go for the tail a 100% percent. When you do get it off carve for the ruby. If at first you dont succeed abandoned the quest and do it all over again. My recommendation is to have luck boost with ya when you do it.
after you have aquired the ruby beat the quest of coarse , otherwise your progress of getting the ruby will be lost.
Its like taking rubies from a baby. I get severa; of them when i do it. You should try it

But you have more chances from getting a Ruby from a Red Rathalos than an Azure one (and Silver Los gives you the best chance), but since it's a TPair quest, the % are all messed up

thanks guys! appreciate it! got 3 rubies man! 1 of em is from what domination suggested and 2 of em was from capturing a silver rath! suweeeeeeet! ahhh...i've gone so good in doing so many of them raths quests,,they can't even touch me man! hahaha...again,appreciate the help!
