When I try to use the trainer, it says cannot find C;/Programs/The Witcher/lancher.HLP file. Do you want to find this file yourself? I've looked-I can't find it. Neither can the cheat program. What do I need to do to correct this?
Well I followed all the C:/Programs/ etc. trail to the launcher folder in The Witcher and I am not seeing any file with a .HLP at all.
Hey bro, I installed the trainer 1.2 yesterday and came up with the same issue. I resolved it by clicking "no" I don't want to find it, then proceeded to launch the game once again. You will see the trainer saying it is loading (bottom of trainer mini window) and then just before the screen goes to black you'll hear "Activated". Good luck.
The issue I'm having now is, after playing the game with the trainer, I can not play the saved games anymore where the trainer was used. It "unexpectedly quits". Haven't had time to figure a work around but I only got the money to work. Don't know if the health, endurance or toxicity levels worked. But I know the Bronze, Silver and Gold points didn't work. Any help is appreciated. TGIF! ( I have read else where that only the gold works so I was only planning on it)
Well, I'll tell ya...this is how I got it to work. I downloaded the Demo Trainer...I ran it first, started the game to the Launch game sitution, ran the Demo thing, did the F1-same message happened. Then I ran the 1.2 Trainer hit F1, same message, etc...then hit launch game and hit F1 several time after I saw the exe loading message at the bottom of the trainer as the game is loading. And I got the "Activated" message. Does not work every time, but has worked several times-but I've had no problems with saved games or with any of the commands. If all that sounds crazy, I have to agree-but it did work, lol.
