ok.. 1st thing is how the hell do i get light crystal... yes i now i can get it from Gypceros but i've killed about 6 so far and all i got was his rubbery thingy and his god dam head and some other stuff... i heard people say that u must hit his head... but how the hell do i do that i mean... he is moving its not like hes sits there and let me hit him... btw is iron katana or bone katana better? after their upgrades
You get do get lightcrystal from Gypceros and to get a 100% chance og getting it in the reward you will have to cut off his horn thingy, its easy once you learn his attacks and learn when to strike
and about the katanas check the attack and sharpness and see for yourself

Id say the iron katana is better after its upgrade and you can also get lightcrystal from mining point 2 sometimes and also when mining in the volcano area. As for the Gypceros, use flash bombs, ballel bombs, wahtever. Just hit him it the head a couple of times and his flash horn will break off. That'll get you the lightcrystal.

Gathering Hall G rank gathering quests they have light crystal in them. Just bring your own pickaxes and your ready to go.
Or you can just rely on your odds by upgrading your pokee farm mining to mining +2 , and bomb mining to go with it. I get a ton of them
A little tip: Just have mining point 2 up and bomb mining and give your cat bounce bomb+, or any other barrel bomb+. This will surely increase your odds
