Game crashes every time I load the first map..

sure you have the correct version of trainer and game? you might try the no-cd fix as well.

After looking for like 2 hours I finally found a patch from retail to 1.1.3260 so hopefully this will fix whatever is wrong with it.

It crashes with or without the trainer running, with 1.1.3260...

Maybe you should try a fresh reinstall of the game. Get the game running fine WITHOUT any trainer and then grab the trainer for the version you've patched to successfully.

With a fresh install it works fine, it seems if I patch it it gets cranky.
Patch .3220 works.
