Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Message Board  

The cheat codes dont work.I typed them correctly,and they still dont work.Any hint?????

On the Main Menu go to options and enable the console.
Then on the main menu open the console with(~) tilde key and enter seta thereisacow 1337 and press enter.
Then type spdevmap and press enter and resume your level or play a new one.
IF this way don't work:
Then type on the main menu seta thereisacow 1337 press enter then enter spdevmap bog_a and press enter. The codes should work.IF not then you must wait like me and others for release of trainer.

Still doesnt work. I tried them also.

You get to the part to type in the spdevmap and press the enter key and the game gives you and error code and then CTD's on you.
The trainer for single player also does not work at all.

Never mind, just uninstalled this piece of crap game that keeps CTDing at every turn even though my sys spec's say I'm good to go.
Its now in pieces in the trash can. Good ridence and f**k you very much activision.

The error is normal.It means that you can continue the game.
Its normal.And the trainer,I have one thats working finr,but its not from cheathappens.

sadly theres nothing we can do to help you with your activision problem. -_-

there's a 1.1 patch out that might help with your issues... we'l be updating the trainer shortly so you could give it another try. I personally had no problems using the codes or trainer on my unpatched version.

Has anyone noticed that in every Call of Duty part when you open the console you have to type seta thereisacow 1337 to enable cheats...Its in every part.But Activision made all COD parts really easy(exept Modern Warfare).In them you dont need any codes.In Modern Warfare in the main menu you must type seta thereisacow 1337,but I forgot to do that.So I played the game on Veteran,to try ir without the codes.I bring up the consloe,and type god,give all,jump_height 500 and they worked.I dont know how,but it worked.
For all who have issues with enabling cheats:
After entering seta... and sdvmap,if a eror appears,just click OK,and resume the game
