For those of you that are downloading and installing the new SP patch and are having trouble with the trainer -- we'll have new, updated trainers for this patch sometime tomorrow (Saturday).

I've found the reason when a character doesn't save is due to some values being too high, mainly having more than 100 skill points spare, so I'd just suggest adding 100 as you go along. I've tested it numerous times, have 100 skill points game saves, add another 100 to take it to 200 and it doesn't. Haven't found a limit for stat points but it can handle 200 spare points at least

Yes, we've already addressed this by changing the trainer to only add 5 skill points at a time instead of 100. You can re-download the trainer for this change (DX-9).

You can avaoid the autopatch feature by setting up shortcuts to the executables themselves. You can do this by right clicking on the desktop selecting "New -> Shortcut" Browse for the Hellgate London instalation folder and look for the folder called SP_X86 (X64 if your using a 64bit os) select either the DX_9 or DX10 version of the executable, hit next name your shortcut and your done. Unfortunatly this game is going to get a few patches there are some major memory leaks in the game that are deabilitating to even high end hardware.

I still can't get the skill point option to work. I tried it every level whenever I get a skill point. All the other options work wonderfully.

I had this happen to me as well. Does your xp bar still function normally? I noticed when this happend to me that the game somehow lagged behind a level. It said that I had enough XP to be level 23 but not enough to be level 24. Once I got enough to be level 24 I made it to 23, but only after I exited and restarted the game. In a nut shell check to see if your xp bar is completely full if it is then bring up your character panel and see if the number on the left is higher then the number on the right. This is the only time I could not get the skillpoints cheat to work. Unfortunatly I could not fix it so I hosed the toon and restarted.

Noticed that if your using the unlimited health option, the monster's hp bar acts very weird and sometimes takes longer to kill a monster then it should. I turned it off and then the bars would act normal and monsters would die. Not a big deal, just something I noticed. I still love the trainer and can understand how hard it is to make it for this game.
