Questions about grunts? on Halo 3 XBox 360 Message Board - Page 2

Ok i keep seeing this when i shoot a grunt in the back the big pointy thing falls off and a gas like

I wouldn't know if it's true or not all I know is there were a few grunts that didn't see me and when I got back several ours later they were dead. To be honest i'd rather not wait for hours to see if it is true or not...

If you didn't shoot them, how did they die? I mean they would just have kept shooting you until you died or thrown a plasma grenade.

As I said they didn't see me which is why they didn't shoot me. But I have no idea how they died which is why I was questioning the limited tank theory? For all I know could have been a glitch?..

grunts make wierd sounds and they always run when you shoot them

how hard r the grey grunts to defeat. since they only exist in heroic or legendary(i dunno which)?

doyou have any siblings or anyone else in ur house? coulda been them.....
