to complete your pokedex, to help in writing guides, to add more flavor to the game, etc.

I am only against cheating online. If you want to cheat to add more playability to your game, more power to ya

I have nothing against people who uses cheat, but I personally myself do not use them. but I can't stand it when people use Hacks/cheats Online, pretty much what Latiosmaster said.

Some things cant be unlocked in the pokemon games without Nintendo Events or AR cheats, and some people just cant get to an Event so they have to cheat to finish the game.
