Trainer 1.06 works 100% on Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2 PC Message Board - Page 3

i have downloaded the free trainer, downloaded the "game fix" twice. Now here is the question, do you obivously copy and paste to the games existing game dat file, do you erase it and replace it with the fix file text, or what i don't get it? Also how the f*****g hell do you run it in xp compatibility mode anyway? Please any help is acceptable.

P.S.-On a side note, when i played this game when i had xp and i downloaded the free v1.06 trainer, it worked fine, maybe one or two crashes, but otherwise fine. Is there something in vista that f's it up? However, I also have the superdupore mega trainer too, should I be using that instead of the free version (after the solution is given i mean)? 🤔

I guess some don't understand that there are two tainer of 1.06 The first is MEGA TRAINER for unlimited member and second is the normal trainer

for the exe fix I think It's that game.dat file(don't get panic ai the rar file you just need to unzip the rar file inside again just double click it)

and for running for XP just right click at th e game shotcut--->Properties---->Compatibility tab---->check the box in Compatibility mode---->choose window XP---->Apply--->OK--->run the game(not sure about this one because i use XP sorry for the mistake)

Here is the link for the game fix. Note: this is NOT for the expansion.

Backup up the original .dat before applying the downloaded version.

XP/Vista no probs.

theres no game.dat file and im not sure ir .rar has like an internet on a peice of paper icon but thats what i got. all i got was the icon that said LordOfTheRingsBattleForMiddleEarth2v1.06FixedDatEng

and click the "Click To Download File". It comes as a .rar file, not zip.

Backup the original game.dat file, and copy the game.dat file that came in the .rar into the BFME II game directory.

HEy i Do this same as u said game still asking me for CD ????

i had install the game 4 times for only this f_____Kng 1.06 version still its not working anyonw help me ???
