monster bone+ you can get from 5* or higher village chief, hr2 or higher ghall
and the wyvern skull shell you get from breaking a ceantaurs shell

i think you get it from daimyo and ceanataur. use an impact weapon ( Hammer+ Hunting Horn) rather than a slashing (any sort of sword). I havent tried it yet but i would say a wyvern fire shot from a fairly decent Gunlance would probably break the shell.

yeah, thats whats your suppose to do, break it so all thats left is a stump, you can break its shell with a great sword, just use charged up attacks
