What do you get for beating Assignment Ada and is the only reward for beating mercenaries the hand

When you beat Assignment Ada, you will get a special ending and a chicago typewriter weapon.

For Mercenaries, you don't just get a hand cannon, but you'll also unlock the following people:

-Ada wong
-Jack Krauser
-HUNK
-Albert wesker

A simple 24-year-old boy.

Isn't that also how you get the Special Costume 3 where Leon has on the suit and Ashley has on the Armor?
