Hi im starting the trainer after the game has loaded my char. But ive tried loading it before actually loading a save game. Even tried starting a new game result is the same. Hubby's going barmy as he got the game for himself but it wont run on his pc GFX is too low spec :P
zappaz... does the V2 trainer work fine for you like it does the other guy? The only problem you have is with V3?
Some people have said that you can load the trainer when the small Bioshock splash screen comes up and then don't have to alt+tab out. Have you tried that?
BTW -- orcsoul and zappaz ... are either of you using a 'cracked' exe or dll or are you both using the original retail version?

literally thousands of people are using the trainer. i am perplexed at your problem. if it crashes right out of the gate, my guess is something is preventing the trainer from being able to inject the .dll which holds our code into your game memory space. or something is preventing the trainer from reading the memory properly.
not sure what else we can do. i wish i was there to take a look at your system so i could tell you exactly but i cannot!
also, thanks razorbiz for testing this at least with your system and setup.
No problem. =) I'm at Arcadia with still no CTDs. I use option 1,2,5,6,8 and the Enable Plasmids once at the first gene bank I found to get the Plasmids I wanted.
Oh btw I run both game and trainer as administrator.

Hi it is the retail game. Also after reading the post on starting the trainer as the bioshock logo appears seems to work for me also. Will let you know if all works fine, but so far so good
