The helmet of an adventure called Fin Glim is found in the western shores of tamriel west of anvil at the bottom of the sea if I'm not mistaking.

Yes, but if I remember correctly, the Imperial Provinces have shores on the western sea only at the Anvil shores, so it's practicly west on the Oblivion map. By the way is Cryodill or Tamriel the continent and what is the other one. Newer knew what's what.

there are
hammerfell, morrowind, black marsh, high rock, valenwood, skyrim, cyrodiil, elsweyr, and i think one more, country, which make up the continent of tamriel
