Get an Anti-Virus program, ecause you probably have a virus.
i have antivirus programs, and i dont have any viruses either. it said my computer was clean.
Well it really depends on what virus system you are using, some latley have been deemed unreliable, i think i remember eternalslayer saying something about having 10, 000 files infected with a virus when he checked it with another program.

i saw that message about the when did the story line ever surpise me it has lots of times like in shivering isles i never thought i would become sheogorath or what ever his name is
Well, in KOTOR I didnt have to pay $40 for an expansion on top of the $40 for the game just to get that plot suprise. Sad to say I am approx. 40 hours in and I am so bored with this game. The Guys who think Oblivion is better than Kotor are probably the same D&D nerds that think LOTR is the best movie ever.

OK I am a big KOTOR fan and I am an even bigger Oblivion fan and I need to say that oblivion has ten times more quests and ten times more free space for exploring. I personally like Oblivion more because the fights aren't turn based.

do you have a short attention span or are you just a boring person
I sure hope I am not a boring person. But I am kind of bored with oblivion. I do apologize if I have been rude. I just do not appreciate the plot in this as much as I did in KOTOR. In KOTOR, he whole how you answer questions in conversation and how you act affecting your alignment was revolutionary. Especially in KOTOR 2 where your actions even affected your entire party. I didnt even mind the whole turned based attack thing. Having party members also a very cool thing, is just another thing oblivion doesnt have. The scenery in Oblivion is fantastic, but with all the hub-bub about the graphics I guess I was hoping there would have been more variance in the npc's. They all look same depending on race of course. And as I said before the plot to me is lacking. I don't care what any of you say there is no plot in oblivion that comes close to playing your entire game as a light side jedi to find out 3/4's of the way in that in fact you are not just a dark jedi, but the ultimate bad guy. To me it's the same old RPG for pc that has been rehashed scores of times throughout the years. Just with better scenery graphics, and a larger domain to roam. Oblivion is a good game, and revolutionary in its own way. The shear volume of quests is staggering in comparison to any other RPG. I just feel they could have done so much more.
On a side note, I have been thinking of getting a ps3 or a xbox 360. Can anyone tell me if they own either or which they prefer and why? thanks
