she is like possesed by the sword which has umbra the warrior inside hence the soultrap enchantment

umbra is an incredibly powerful sword, so any person who weilds it instantly becomes posessed into believing that umbra is the most important aspect of their lives, they forget about everything except umbra and they forget who they are, do the quest and you will find out
